Went for breakfast here during our trip and it was a quiet, cozy little joint. Our server was the only one there and was running the show with taking our order, cooking our food, and keeping us topped off on drinks. It was great and very reasonable prices. We'll try to stop by again before we leave.

We need to go back and try some other options I hear the hamburgers are great. The nachos we had was just a little odd as the lettuce was at the bottom in the meat and onion seemed like it came up a Philly cheesesteak. Just really different than what we're expecting out of nachos. The veggies were all wilted from the heat because they read the bottom. The taco was pretty good though. Want to come back and try more Will update then.

This is home cooking done right! Good food, good people, relaxed atmosphere, we visit couple times a week, Today’s deep fried beef burrito was changed to chicken and it’s 1 of the best burritos I’ve ever had, The salad was crisp and fresh, Opal’s is a mainstay for us…

This is a small diner in a small town. The food was good. The service was great. They were out of some menu items. To be expected in a diner this small. But, my husband has trouble with cheese and such, the waitress worked with him to find him something he could eat and enjoy. I had chicken nachos, it was an absolute treat. They had a lot of options for nacho toppings. I will be eating here again.

Wow! The food was amazing! And very reasonable! I had a cheeseburger (best I've had in a long time) and some tater tots and let me tell you those tots were cooked to the right crispness... The perfect crunch! We also had fried pickles that were cooked just right ... Not a mushy fried pickle here. The homemade chips were thin and crisp like they are suppose to be. Very pleased and look forward to visiting again.

Great place to eat. Large and fair priced menu. The staff is very nice, and you caff beat their homemade pies, this side of the Mississippi river. I highly recommend this place.
